Mike Harrell is a Public Adjuster with Adjusters International/Matrix Business Consulting. Serving as a Public Adjuster, he specializes in helping the policyholder obtain a full and fair settlement for their insurance claim. Mike has in-depth knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and strategies. He possesses extensive claims handling experience for personal and commercial lines claims. Wearing many hats, his day-to-day includes anything from loss consulting, reviewing repair estimates & policies, and negotiating towards a settlement that benefits the insured.

 

Previously, Mike was the Operations Manager for a large national exterior restoration company. He has 10 years of commercial & residential exterior restoration experience and has spent over 20 years working with and serving the needs of his clients. He has also worked disaster response for multiple major hurricanes including Hurricanes Charlie, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, Katrina and Laura.

 

As an Air Force Veteran, Mike advocates for awareness of veteran suicide including volunteering with DAV, The Wounded Warrior Project, and Till Valhalla Project. He enjoys hiking and camping with his wife, daughter, and Border Collie. He also enjoys white water rafting, surfing, and snorkeling.

Leveraging his prior experience, Mike can connect with people and help them identify and understand important aspects of the damages to their property, and how it impacts the approach the insurance companies take to settle their claim. His passion for people allows him to walk his clients through the complexities of their claim helping to ease the burden of what is often one of the most stressful times someone goes through.  One of Mike’s strongest qualities in the field is he genuinely cares for people facing a catastrophic loss.

Professional Involvement

Mike is also an amateur meteorologist that is a certified National Weather Service & SKYWARN Storm Spotter. This unique skill of understanding the nature of the storm helps him advocate for those that have been affected by disasters.  To arrive at losses quickly, he is currently working toward earning his Private Pilot License.
